Since 1989, the Andersson family has been offering affordable holiday cabins in Sälen close to Lindvallen, Högfjället, Hundfjället and Tandådalen. Our family-friendly timber cabins are comfortable, well-equipped and excellent value for money, making them ideal for families, friends and business groups of up to 20 guests (Tangen) or 24 guests (Gruven) – a total of 44 beds.

• Availability: We offer holiday accommodation in Sälen all year round. Please check that your preferred apartment and dates are available before submitting a pre-booking request.
• Location: Both cabins are situated on attractive south-west facing slopes, offering sunshine and beautiful mountain views throughout the year. Tangen is close to Lindvallen, while Gruven is close to Högfjällshotellet. The locally operated Scandinavian Mountains Airport is only 17 kilometres from Gruven.

✨ Gruven – Perfect for Those Who Want Nature Right on Their Doorstep

Gruven offers three cosy apartments with up to eight beds in each apartment, providing accommodation for up to 24 guests in total. You’ll enjoy direct access to hiking trails and outdoor activities, as well as being close to Högfjället, making it easy to combine nature, adventure and relaxation. Altogether, Gruven is an excellent choice for an active yet comfortable mountain holiday, with weekly prices ranging from SEK 3,600 to SEK 7,300.

Tangen – Spacious, Convenient and Close to Everything

Tangen is ideal for larger families or groups of friends, offering two modern apartments with up to 10 beds in each apartment, accommodating up to 20 guests in total. Best of all, the transport lift is within easy skiing distance from the house, making access to the ski area quick and convenient. That means less time travelling and more time enjoying the slopes. Depending on the season, weekly prices range from SEK 4,900 to SEK 10,800, making Tangen a comfortable base for an unforgettable mountain holiday.
