Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, but our rental terms and conditions apply. Please read our terms for information about cancellations and any applicable fees.
How do I pay for my stay?
Payment is made according to the information provided in your booking confirmation. Full payment terms are available in our rental conditions.
Will I receive a booking confirmation immediately?
Yes. Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation containing all practical information. All bookings are handled personally.
Is there a deposit or booking fee?
Pre-booking is free of charge. Once your booking has been confirmed, the deposit is payable according to our rental conditions.
Arrival & Your Stay
How do we collect the key to the apartment?
Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive clear instructions for a simple and secure key handover.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 2:00 PM. Check-out by 12:00 PM, unless otherwise agreed.
How does the final cleaning work?
Guests are responsible for the final cleaning. The apartment must be left in the same condition as upon arrival. Cleaning instructions are provided in the cleaning cupboard.
Are there quiet hours or house rules?
We kindly ask all guests to respect the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum during the evenings and at night.
Where should we dispose of our rubbish?
Information about waste disposal is available in the apartment. Please remember to empty all rubbish before departure.
Accommodation & Facilities
How many beds are available?
Gruven has three apartments with 8 beds each. Tangen has two apartments with 10 beds each.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Duvets and pillows are provided. Please bring your own bed linen and towels.
Is there a washing machine?
No, but there is a drying cabinet for clothes and ski boots.
Is there ski storage?
Yes, ski equipment can be stored at the property.
Is there equipment for young children?
Yes, every apartment has a travel cot and a high chair. Some staircases are fitted with child safety gates.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement when booking. One apartment in each building is pet-free.
Is there a Smart TV or streaming available?
Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included. We do not provide streaming devices (such as Chromecast), but you are welcome to bring your own.
Is the accommodation suitable for remote working?
There is no dedicated workspace, but reliable Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment.
Transport & Skiing
Do I need a car?
A car makes it easier to get around the Sälen area. From Tangen you can access the ski slopes directly, and the ski bus stops close to the entrance to Gruven. Parking is available at the property.
How does EV charging work?
EV charging is available at our properties in Sälen – two Easee charging stations at Tangen and one at Gruven. Electricity consumption is charged after your stay.
