Since 1989, the Snickar Andersson family has offered affordable, cozy, and family-friendly log cabins in Sälen, Sweden. Our self-catering cabins are well-equipped and ideal for families, friends, and groups of up to 10 guests.
- Availability: Our holiday cabins are available all year round. Please check dates and availabililty before pre-booking your desired accommodation.
- Location: Both cabins are located on sunny south-west slopes with wonderful mountain views all year round. Tangen is close to Lindvallen ski area, while Gruven is closer to HC (Högfjällshotellet, “Högis” for short). The Scandinavian Mountains Airport (run by local entrepreneurs) is just 17 km from Gruven.
✨ Gruven – nature right on the doorstep
The Gruven cabin offers three cozy apartments, each with up to 8 beds—perfect for families or smaller groups. Enjoy immediate access to trails and the beautiful surroundings near Högfjället, making it easy to combine nature, activities, and relaxation. Gruven is an excellent choice for an active yet comfortable mountain getaway.
Prices (depending on season): Weekly SEK 3,600–7,300. Weekend (Thu–Sun) SEK 2,400–3,500.
🌄 Tangen – spacious, convenient, and close to everything
The Tangen cabins are ideal for larger families or groups of friends, with two modern apartments offering up to 10 beds each. The shuttle lift that connects Lindvallen and Högfjällhotellet is just around the corner, giving you quick and easy access to the slopes—so you can spend less time on logistics and more time enjoying the mountains. Tangen is a comfortable base for a memorable mountain holiday.
Prices (depending on season): Weekly SEK 4,900–10,800. Weekend (Thu–Sun) SEK 2,500–4,100.
