Location
The house in Tangen is an exclusive mountain cabin located in one of Sälen’s most attractive areas, Nya Sälfjällstangen (directions ). Be captivated by the beautiful view with Högfjällshotellet and Sälen’s mountain church in the foreground. In addition, the south-west facing terrace is perfect for sunbathing all year round. In addition to outdoor activities, the proximity to Lindvallen and Högfjällshotellet (HC or Högis, as it is popularly called) offers a social life with restaurants, bars, cinemas, etc. In other words, there are things to do for all ages. The immediate surroundings are also well suited for children’s games and excursions, for example snowman making. It is one km to restaurants, swimming pool, shops, ICA, ski rental, etc.
About the mountain cabin and the apartments in Tangen
The cottage in Tangen has two mirrored apartments each with 130 square meters of living space and 8 + 2 beds. The apartments are characterized by genuine craftsmanship in old-fashioned valley style. The wet rooms have tiled walls and tiled floors with underfloor heating. The standard of equipment is high, as listed above, but in addition these apartments have two televisions, two toilets and two charging points for electric cars. Apartment B is pet-free. The apartments have one bedroom with a bunk bed, two bedrooms with a double bed and a sleeping loft with a double bed and sofa bed. There is also a family room with dining area, corner sofa, fireplace and TV. The sleeping loft also has a TV. The cozy sun porch has a southwest orientation.

Downhill skiing, cross-country skiing etc. near Tangen
It is about 400 meters of gliding or walking distance from the cabin in Tangen to the transport lift that takes you to the lift systems in Lindvallen and Högfjällshotellet (a total of about 50 pistes and lifts). If you prefer to move horizontally, the Swedish Alps with cross-country skiing trails and rutted trails into the knot. When it is off season for skiing and when the spring flood has left the grounds, it is a fantastically species-rich and exciting area for mountain hiking or bike tours.
